Joseph Fredericks (2023 LHP, Chesapeake, VA) dominated in his three inning outing, striking out eight hitters and pretty much completely dominating with a three-pitch mix from a deceptive low 3/4's arm slot. A West Virginia commit, Fredericks worked mostly in the 87-89 mph range with big arm side life and also mixed in a sweeping 71 mph breaking ball and nice change up.
Griffin Enis (2025 OF, Corinth, MS) showed his speed in the sixty during drills and showed it in the game with a ringing triple up the right centerfield gap. He also made a nice play and throw from the hole at shortstop to highlight his defensive versatility and athleticism.
Josiah (Jojo) Saleem (2024 OF, Olive Branch, MS) was busy in centerfield on defense, tracking down a number of fly balls and showing nice range. He also hit a double down the left field line in one at-bat and battled during another, fouling off numerous pitches with two strikes before flying out to medium deep center field.
Zackary Tenorio (2023 1B, Olive Branch, MS) barreled up a couple of balls, knocking a double to the opposite field with good balance on a pitch on the outside half and later lining a single up the middle.
Quinn Finnegan (2025 RHP, Hillsborough, NC) had a nice outing on the mound, working up to 80 mph with a mid-60's curveball he consistently landed for strikes. He also roped a triple into the left field corner.
Jack Ketchum (2024 RHP, West Point, MS) worked up to 86 mph with his fastball but impressed more with his curveball/change up combination, both of which were quality pitches that he threw for strikes and picked up lots of outs with.
Miles Harper Jr (2023 RHP, Bartlett, TN) worked in the 82-84 mph range with his fastball and his velocity plays up due to the deception in his delivery. His mid-70's slider was a nice pitch for him when he kept his release slot up on release.
