Dereck Hernandez Gonzalez (2026 SS, Conroe, TX) took a solid round of infield defensively and continued to shine with a very smooth and loose swing as he's got some bat speed and the ability to backspin the baseball while matching plane early.
Branson Killian (2026 LHP, Spring, TX) has some looseness in the hands and he found the barrel often showing the fluidity to get it out often and impact the ball well to the pull side.
Alejandro Padilla (2026 C, Cypress, TX) is a solid athlete and he's got some foundational pieces to project on with quick hands, good timing and some strength off the barrel that he showed to the middle of the field.
Austin Smith (2026 OF, Frisco, TX) took one of the better rounds early on as he stays short thru the zone and has the bat speed and overall twitch to get on time and impact the ball pretty hard already.
Jacob George (2026 OF, Spring, TX) is on the smaller end physically but he's got quick hands which generates solid bat speed and he torques in time with good impact to the pull side and a good round as a whole.
Joe Meloy (2026 SS, Houston, TX) is a loose athlete and a good mover overall and he took a really nice round of batting practice. It's a balanced approach and his short and quick stroke paired with the strength in the profile made the impact he creates intriguing.
Grant Sperandio (2027 SS, Houston, TX) has really good hands in the box and fires them on time producing liners to the middle and was able to use both gaps well throughout the round.
Judson Dowell (2026 3B, Houston, TX) was one of the better all-around players in the workout session and the batting practice was nothing short of that as he's explosive with very good bat speed and the strong hands allow him to produce loud impact to either gap.
Jack Dyment (2026 SS, Pearland, TX) has a longer swing and could use some more strength to create good impact but he flashed some things to like and was able to get timed up and produce some solid impact in flashes.
Ripken Birdwell (2026 MIF, Hooks, TX) is a slightly physical lefthanded hitter with easy bat speed and feel for the barrel and while he can get flat at times, the strength plays already.
Brycen Kincy (2026 SS, Cypress, TX) has some quickness to project on already as it's good impact when he's connected and he was able to get the barrel out and impact the ball well.
Grant Stafford (2027 SS, Lufkin, TX) is a good sized kid with some hand speed and strength in the hands and the heavy barrel allowed him to drive the ball in the air a good bit.
Cole Taylor (2026 1B, Austin, TX) is one of the most physical players in attendance and he'll show just that in flashes as he'll get uphill with the path but the strength off the barrel is undoubted and will be loud when he's on it.
Aiden Salinas (2027 SS, Corpus Christi, TX) took a very intriguing round for a youngster as he's got tons of present bat speed and was on the barrel often with backspin to the middle and real strength off the barrel for the age.
Kaleb Rogers (2025 OF, San Antonio, TX) is a real tooled up prospect across the board and there's some upside in the stick as he swings the bat with intent and has the makings of good bat speed and barrel whip with some strength additions.
Camden Slazer (2027 IF, League City, TX) has some heaviness to the barrel for the age and he already gets synced up very well with good barrels to the middle and both gaps.
Logan Brown (2026 3B, Keller, TX) is another good sized kid with a good bit of whip to the barrel and was really consistent in producing good contact to the middle of the field and projects well.
Ronin McCraw (2026 SS, Magnolia, TX) was really impressive during his round showing lots of hand speed, consistent loud barrels and the ability to ambush the baseball out front with no problem unlocking his strength.
Lale Esquivel (2026 3B, Grapevine, TX) used the whole field well in his round showing consistency in getting to the barrel and some strength behind it with good bat speed and plenty of foundation pieces to project on.
