1-Navy vs 2-White Game Highlights >>

5/22/2022 9:46:46 PM

Luke Manderson (2026 RHP, Jacksonville, FL) tore it up on both sides of the ball.  He worked steadily at 82-84 mph on his fastball with a very impressive biting 73 mph slider that flashed curve-like depth.  At the plate, he crushed an inside the park home run run over the centerfielder's head, circling the bases easily without a throw.

Riley Ramroop (2027 RHP, Palmbay, FL) is a primary pitcher but he shows lots of potential as a left handed hitter as well.  He doubled to left field in one at bat and barreled up another ball with a combination of bat speed and big physical projection.

Eric Harrison (2025 3B, Avon Park, FL) showed his bat speed when he turned on a ball hard and doubled down the left field line.  He also impressed with a far ranging catch of a pop up in foul territory down the right field line while playing second base.

Romolo "Romy Decenzo (2026, C/RHP, Bradenton, FL) had a solid outing on the mound, working in the 72-75 mph range but also showing a big sweeping slider that consistently registered spin rates in the 2300+ range.

Daylon Adams (2026 SS, Glen Saint Mary, FL) drove a triple to right field that showed very good carry and jump off the barrel for a right handed hitter going the opposite way.

Miles Newsome (2026 MIF, Winter Garden, FL) was all over the place on the field.  He made two outstanding defensive plays while in right field, ranging far in both directions to catch flies.  He also connected on a deep F-9 himself and got in the box score with a double over the centerfielder's head in another at-bat.  He can sting the ball from the left side for a slender 5-7/115 athlete.

Batting Practice Highlights >>

5/22/2022 2:53:29 AM

Parker Loew (2026 3B, Sarasota, FL) is a strong athlete who does a nice job of getting to his front side with his lower half and meeting the ball out front.  His present strength gives him bat speed and the ability to impact the ball hard, especially to the pull side.

Cory Matthews (2027 RHP, Jacksonville, FL) is super strong for a 2027 at 6-0/190 and definitely has the present strength to hit.  He has a long and strong approach at the plate and was notably on time through his whole round with tons of solid barrels.

Samuel Fernandez (2025 C, Tampa, FL) decided to switch bats early in his round and boy was that a good decision.  The new bat was on time and squared up with nice bat speed.  The angular 6-1/158 athlete is going to have big power down the road.

Christian Gomez (2027 OF, Orlando, FL) isn't as strong and physical as some of his peers at this event but his swing is loose and tension free and really projects well.  Wait until he puts on some mature muscle and he will be impacting the ball hard.

Luke Manderson (2026 RHP, Jacksonville, FL) is bigger and stronger than most kids this age and it shows in his bat speed and ability to lift and drive the ball from a simple swing approach.

Eric Harrison (2025 3B, Avon Park, FL) has a solid line drive up the middle approach that combines bat speed and contact ability well.  He's getting strong at 6-0/175 and projects very well.

Dominic Cappucci (2026 C, Seffner, FL) showed a very well timed gap to gap line drive swing with good lower half shift and strong hands through the ball.  He squared up everything in a solid round of barrels.

Steele Lickliter (2026 RHP, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL) and Storm Lickliter (2026 RHP, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL) have two completely different builds and are both primary pitchers at present but both have hitting tools to develop.  Storm is the stronger one with the present power, while Steele is looser with lots more physical projection.

1-Navy vs. 2-White Game Highlights >>

5/21/2022 7:02:00 PM

Dominic Cappucci (2026 C, Seffner, FL) ambushed a first pitch fastball for a line drive single back through the middle. He immediately showed off the wheels by stealing second base; he later pulled the hands in and ripped a double down the left field line.

Cory Matthews (2027 RHP, Jacksonville, FL) worked up to 77 mph (18-2000 rpm) with the fastball and showed a full pitch mix. The arm works well and he already has advanced feel for a tumbling changeup in the low-70s (14-1500rpm.

Riley Ramroop (2027 RHP, Palmbay, FL) lived in the low-70s (15-1700 rpm) and did a good job at working east-west and pounding strikes. Ramroop wasn't afraid to work inside and could land a breaker for strikes.

Luke Manderson (2026 RHP, Jacksonville, FL) has been really active on the basepaths and he's a good mover underway, running a 6.8 in the 60. He's got good bat speed and collected a hit.

Christian Gomez (2027 OF, Orlando, FL) found a couple of barrels despite not notching a hit in this one. It's a smooth left-handed swing that projects with strength.

Romolo "Romy" Decenzo (2026, Bradenton, FL) has impressive catch-and-throw skills and also collected a single back through the middle. He's physical with good presence behind the plate and has a nice profile moving forward.

Isaac Malone (2026 C, Tampa, FL) jumped on a fastball to smoke it to the pull side for a single. It's a short, quick swing with good feel for the barrel.

Storm Lickliter (2026 RHP, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL) is a physical right-hander who worked up to 79 mph (1644) with the fastball and showed a good three pitch mix. There's good feel to spin a breaker in the 68-71 (2038) mph range.

Carson Powell (2026 C, Sanderson, FL) burned the centerfielder for a hard hit double that he got his hands elevated on. There's intriguing power upside and he finishes nicely through contact.

Parker Loew (2026 3B, Sarasota, FL) pulled his hands in on a mid-70s offering and lined it to the pull side for a hard hit single. He's got good hand eye and really moves well on the bases, going first to third on a single.
