Batting Practice Highlights
Thomas Giltner (2025 Hollywood, FL) has quick wrists that create good barrel speed. He blasted balls consistently to the pull side during his workout.
Carlos Ovalles (2026 Hialeah, FL) is a strong young prospect that let the barrel fly and looked to lift with authority. The were multiple hard barrels during the round.
Garrett Duffy (2026 Hollywood, FL) hit a lot of balls on the screws and its easy to dream on the power projection as the lean frame matures.
Louis Hernandez (2026 Sanford, FL) is one of the more physically imposing players at the event and that physicality was used to drive balls hard to both gaps with ease.
Bryan Borges (2026 Miami, FL) could rival anyone with pure bat speed at the event. The huge intent and high level hit tool led to an abundance of hammered liners to the pull side.
Christian Rodriguez (2026 Saint Johns, FL) has a simple process and accurate barrel that was on the nose with every swing he took during the round.
Chase Petker (2026 Lutz, FL) used the body well to sequence and create space with his long levers and smoke line drives with carry.
Daniel Andres Rivera (2025 Caguas, PR) has real fluidity and excellent athleticism in his process that should lead to lots of power as he develops.
Ayson McIntosh (2026, Vero Beach, FL) stays with an advanced approach belting balls to the middle of the field with regularity. The bat to ball skills stood out.
Benjamin Edwards (2026 Cornelius, NC) has a clean stroke and lots of confidence throwing the hands with good direction to produce hard contact.
Ethan Frank (2026 Owings Mills, MD) uses the core well and the hands stay strong and fluid through the zone while he hammered pull side line drives.
Isaac Rivera (2026 Lake Wales, FL) has a really clean stroke and the barrel stays in the zone well. This is the type of stroke that will continue to hit for a high average.
Gabriel Stevens (2026 Miami, FL) throws the pelvis hard and uses the arms to get extension and drive balls to left.
Justin Edwards (2026 Riverview, FL) is an excellent overall athlete with lots of upside given his whippy swing and all fields approach.
Alex Curran (2026 Stratford, PE – CAN) keeps a good vertical bat that gets on plane and will produce natural lift, and he already shows good timing.
JR Hudson (2026 Sarasota, FL) used his quick barrel to back spin balls to both gaps with an impressive hit tool that should routinely split gaps.
Emille Diaz (2025 Rochester, NY) has a strong frame and extra strong hands for the age. He swings a very heavy barrel and can smoke liners to all fields.
Jaden Doverspike (2026 Margate, FL) had one of the better rounds of the day showing high level bat to ball skills to go with easy thump off the barrel.
Sedrick Branham Jr (2026 Temple Terrace, FL) has huge power in the right handed stroke with a very strong top hand that can do damage.
