Gage Bishop (2024, Dubuque, IA) does a nice job of staying on balance in his swing and utilizes the entire field. He shifts his weight through the ball and makes consistent line drive contact.
Brady Blake (2023, Indianola, IA) showed nice hand speed through the zone, whipping the barrel through and making loud contact during his round today. He is an athletic player with room to fill and real power potential.
Samuel Rich (2023, Williamsburg, IA) has good hand-eye coordination in the box, barreling up multiple balls to the pull side today. He stays on balance and uses his lower half efficiently in his swing.
Brady Gray (2024, Farmersville, TX) is a switch-hitter that shows impressive bat speed from both sides of the plate. He does a nice job of staying on balance and connected throughout the process, making consistent line drive contact.
Kyler Hackfort (2024, Ankeny, IA) has a short swing that he pairs with quick hands through the zone, allowing him to stay back on balls and drive them where they are pitched. He does a nice job of not trying to do too much and sending line drives to all parts of the field.
Garrett Heying (2023, Dickens, IA) does a nice job of getting extended and making contact out in front of the plate. This allows him to use his quick bat speed to leverage balls deep into the gap, showing off nice power.
Reid Jacob (2023, Lovejoy, TX) has a short and compact swing through the zone. He has a flat bat path that allows him to easily barrel balls up and send line drives to all parts of the field.
Hayden Vandenberg (2023, West Burlington, IA) is a strong athlete that uses his strength well in his swing, showing true power. He does a nice job of loading into his back side before swinging with intent and leveraging the ball to the pull side.
Trey Hicklin (2025, Urbandale, IA) does a nice job of using his strong, fast hands in his swing, generating nice pop off the bat. He stays on balance and is consistently on time, allowing him to make contact out in front of the plate and power the ball into the gaps.
Joe Merchlewitz (2023, Woodbury, MN) showed twitchy actions at the plate with his quick hands and the ability to fire his hips well. He has a pull side approach and looks to elevate, something that will lead to more power as he continues to add strength.
Nathan Motl (2024, Sioux Falls, SD) uses his quick, fluid hands to whip the barrel through the zone, resulting in the ball jumping off his bat. He does a nice job of using his whole body and looks to elevate the ball into the gaps.
Aidan Perdreau (2024, Mukwonago, WI) showed plenty of power during his round today. He has a pull approach and swings with intent, looking to do damage to any pitches left over the inner half of the plate.
Jake Quinn (2024, St. Paul, MN) uses a big load and swings hard, punishing balls when he is on time and makes contact out in front of the plate. He has a longer swing and shows big time power potential as he continues to develop.
Adam Urban (2025 SS, Wauwatosa, WI) certainly looks the part of a high-level hitter, standing at an athletic 6-foot, 175-pounds, and there is a lot to like in the swing. The swing is smooth and fluid and he shows plenty present bat speed.
