2-Green Vs. 1-Gray Game Highlights >>

4/10/2022 4:14:50 PM

Kaiden Simons (2026 OF, Kansas City, KS) has shown a nice approach at the plate all weekend. Took an outside pitch and drove it to the opposite field for a double in his first at-bat Sunday. Showed fastball and curveball on the mound where he threw a scoreless inning while striking out two.

Crewe Hasenour (2027 SS, Haubstadt, IN) threw out a would be base stealer with a strong and accurate throw to second base. Moved his feet well and blocked a couple balls in the dirt behind the plate at well. Put together a couple quality at bats at the plate as well showing strike zone discipline and an understanding of what pitches he can handle at the plate.

Brooks Eaton (2026 C, Springfield, MO) put a couple good swings on the baseball today. Barreling up a double in his first at-bat on a well hit ball to right centerfield. On the mound threw two shutout innings without allowing a hit while striking out three.

Charles Redd (2027 OF, Sullivan, MO) showed some ability in the outfield today. Showing a quick first step and getting consistent quality reads on balls in the air. Made one highlight play ranging to his left and making a diving catch. Made another play on a fly ball ranging straight back over his head and another coming in on a shallow hit ball to centerfield. Really covered some ground in centerfield today.

Nolan Lebert (2026 SS, Mascoutah, IL) had a nice day at the plate today. Collecting two hits and an RBI in his at-bats. Was consistently on time at the plate today and put quality swings on the baseball with some barrel speed through the zone.

Hayden Hubbard (2026 3B, Lee’S Summit, MO) up to 80 on the mound today. Has a quick arm on the mound with a fastball that has ride through the top of the zone. Throws strikes when he stays under control and on top of the baseball. Stuck out five today.

Brody Wilson (2026 1B, Springfield, MO) had one of the better swings today on an oppo gap triple. Let the ball travel and used his level bat path to barrel up the baseball. Shows some feel for barrel at the plate and had his swing in sync today. Added a scoreless inning on the mound as well.

Batting Practice Highlights >>

Crewe Hasenour (2027 SS, Haubstadt, IN) showcased the ability to spray hard line drive contact from gap to gap throughout his round, using balanced mechanics and a quiet approach to create backspin on the baseball. Clear lower half strength is present with a repeatable bat path through the zone.

Sam Soderstrom (2025 C, Wichita, KS) started from a wider base with lots of lower half weight shift to generate consistent line drive contact to the pull side. The righty’s stroke was sound and directly translates in game with the ability to consistently get the barrel out in front.

Hunter Higgins (2026 C, Maize, KS) put his physical 6’3” 210 lb frame to work at the plate, driving baseballs with intent to all parts of the field. Higgins starts from a slightly open stance and explodes through the zone with dangerous launch angle and lots of strength in the hands. He covered the zone well and flashed the ability to work the opposite side of the field.

Wesley Brown (2026 LHP, Kingsville, MO) was another name with a repeatable and balanced stroke at the dish, displaying a direct compact path through the zone that generated hard contact to the middle of the field. Brown had evident bat speed and controlled the barrel well during his round.

Kaiden Simons (2026 OF, Kansas City, KS) wasn’t afraid to go foul line to foul line during his round, using an athletic 5’10” 155 lb frame to produce line drives on a consistent basis. Simons started from a slightly open stance with the ability to create lift on the baseball and generate backspin with ease.

Vince Lenmark (2027 RHP, Maple Grove, MN) flashed solid bat speed through the zone and proved that size isn’t everything, consistently making contact out front gap to gap. With the contact tool already present, expect potential for the righty to only continue increasing.

Hayden Hubbard (2026 3B, Lee’S Summit, MO) was an intimidating presence in the box, flashing clear hand speed with lots of physicality to his stroke. His best contact went to the pull side with good extension and developing power potential.

Shows two-way potential.

Blake Sarnecki (2026 RHP, Bucyrus, KS) tall and athletic frame on the mound with a high three-quarter arm slot. Struck out seven batters over his three innings on the mound today. Fastball and curveball combo on the mound that he mixed well.

Hayden Hubbard (2026 3B, Lee’S Summit, MO) hit an opposite field double during his first at-bat. Added a single up the middle in his second at bat, handling a low and outside pitch.  Shows a strong athletic frame in the box with the ability to drive the baseball to the gaps.

Brett McInnis (2027 C, Lemars, IA) turned on a fastball and hit a triple to right field in his second at-bat. Direct hand path to the baseball with some barrel control. One of the better swings in game today. Singled to centerfield with another on time swing in his second at-bat. Also showed some ability in the field with a nice play and throw on the run at third base.

Crewe Hasenour (2027 SS, Haubstadt, IN) had the best swing of the day on a drive to the left centerfield gap. Showed some speed getting all the way around the bases for an inside the park home run. Was impressive in the field as well making all the plays and showing a strong accurate arm.

Sam Soderstrom (2025 C, Wichita, KS) had a nice day at the plate. Doubled three times in the game into both gaps, stole third base and showed some blocking skill behind the plate. Has the size and strength to impact the baseball to all fields at the plate.

Hudson Bailey (2026 SS, Parkville, MO) hit an opposite field double into the right centerfield gap. Showing quick hands with some barrel speed through the zone. Threw two shutout innings on the mound without giving up a hit.
