2021 14U Fall Atlantic Coast Showcase (10/30/2021 - 10/31/2021)

Craig McGhee (2026 OF, Kernersville, NC) picked up right where he left off yesterday, adding three more hits to his final tally.  The RHH has some physicality to his frame and drove the ball to all fields. He also ran the bases aggressively as he racked up multiple stolen bases each day. 

Nicholas Reddish (2026 LHP, Charlotte, NC) had a solid day at the dish with a couple of hard singles, one of which drove in a run.  A physical LHH with an athletic build, he demonstrated a pull side approach with good speed around the bases. 

Tariq Stone (2026 OF, Knightdale, NC) might have had the loudest contact of the game when he launched a RBI triple to RF.  The stout, medium built LHH showed good strength in his hands through the zone and athleticism on the bases. 

Stephen Ribustello (2026 SS, Tarboro, NC) continued his hot weekend when he added another base hit today.  The slender, medium built RHH showed good bat to ball skills as he sprayed line drives to all fields.  

Jack Woda (2026 C, Arlington, VA) finished off an impressive weekend with a couple more knocks.  He showed a patient approach at the plate, getting his pitch and then barreling it up.  A super utility guy, his athleticism shown through as he bounced from behind the plate to the infield and mound.

James West (2025 RHP, Florence, SC) punched out 4 over his 3 innings of work.  The medium-built RHP generated plenty of swings and misses with his FB that had good riding life up in the zone.  

Easton Tillman (2026 LHP, Reidsville, NC) used a good FB/CB combo to strike out 5 over his 2+ innings.  Lean with a long frame, he created some deception with his mid-70s FB and complimented it with a tight, downward CB in the low to mid-60s. 

Derek Guzman (2026 SS, Charlotte, NC) slammed a loud, RBI triple to LF as one of his three hits on the day.  A RHH with a medium build, he showed the ability to turn on pitches on the inner half with authority.  Defensively, he turned a nice double play to end an inning. 

Connor Woods (2027 MIF, Fayetteville, NC) had an electric inning, punching out the side on only 10 pitches.  He worked 75-77 with his FB and threw a hard slurve at 66-68.  He also showed good athleticism and actions on the infield throughout the day.

Matthew Mansbery (2026 SS, Brecksville, OH) showed nice fast hands during his round and made consistent hard line drive contact.  He showed plenty of bat speed for a slender 5-10/129 athlete.

Ryan Allen (2025 2B, Greensboro, NC) was another young right handed hitter with quick hands and an accurate barrel.  He worked the middle of the field with some jump when squared.

Jack Woda (2026 C, Arlington, VA) has an aggressive right handed swing and creates some young barrel whip.  He was well timed with nice extension though contact.

Brady Armfield (2026 OF, Asheboro, NC) has a nice projectable 5-11/140 build for his age and moves into contact will with his lower half.  He drove some balls hard to left centerfield with nice back spin and carry.

Micah Irving (2025 RHP, Charlotte, NC) is a  strong primary right handed pitcher who has plenty of power in his 5-10/169 frame.  He got some balls in the air to the pull side that carried well.

Ben Drinkwine (2026 1B, Aldie, VA) has a nice and fluid right handed swing that was consistently on time and squared up while being short and direct.  The 6-0/160 first baseman really projects physically and as a hitter.

Derek Guzman (2026 SS, Charlotte, NC) has impressive quickness in his hands and a really short swing.  He stung some balls to the pull side and was very consistent. 

Tariq Stone (2026 OF, Knightdale, NC) is a big and strong 5-9/170 left handed hitter who takes a big aggressive cut at the ball and showed some big power to right centerfield.
