Batting Practice Highlights Teams 5-6
6/9/2018 3:14:52 PM
Brandon Fields (2020 OF, Orlando, FL) showed a level swing plane and loud pop to both gaps but especially to pull side. Fields has significant bat speed and high exit velocities throughout his round.

Garret Guillemette (2020 C, Yorba Linda, CA), committed to Oregon, creates natural leverage in his swing with torque from his hips. Guilemette showed lots of power to the pull side and big strength.

Connor Simon (2021 SS, Mandeville, LA) has a balanced swing with a downhill plane. The LSU commit sprayed line drives to all fields with raw tools at the plate.

Thomas Dilandri (2021 OF, Las Vegas, NV) had a loud round of batting practice. Connecting on multiple balls showing his gap power, Dilandri has real bat speed and strength through contact.

Jace Bohrofen (2020 OF, Oklahoma City, OK) whips the barrel through the hitting zone. Bohrofen has some loft to his swing with impact strength and extension out in front.

Chad Born (2020 OF, Placentia, CA) showcased quick hands and an inside path to the baseball. He flashed some bat speed and strength off of the barrel from gap to gap during his round.

Blaze Jordan (2021 1B, Southaven, MS) displayed the raw strength and leverage that we have seen for a few years now. He has such a strong swing extending through contact with strength even through contact.

Jack Bulger (2020 C, Bowie, MD) showed elite bat speed with raw pop as well. One of the louder rounds of the afternoon session, Bulger showed his strength and power specifically to the pull side.
