Top seeded PG Navy is led by Ian Moller (2021 C, Dubuque, IA). Ian has had a great session going 68 for 118 with 17 extra base hits and 35 RBI's. Perhaps most impressive is Ian's exit velocity (92.6 mph) which ranks at the top of the PG location and 3rd overall in the country. Ty Carlson (2021 1B, Muscatine, IA) ranks second on the team in RBI's with 21 and a max exit velocity of 81.5 mph. Coy Sarsfield (2021 OF, Marion, IA), Owen Puk (2021 RHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) and Carlson are all members of the 12u team for last years national playoffs.

4th seeded BMP Black will look to Isaiah Haynes for most of the production. Isaiah has collected a .558 batting average with 14 extra base hits, including a home run that travled 341 feet and an eye popping 95.6 mph max exit velocity. Khalis Yusuf (2021 2B, Elk Grove, CA) leads BMP Black in hits (48) and batting average (.593).

Game 2

#3 BJES White 14u (7-3-2) vs. #2 SJB Steel 14u (8-4)

   SJB Steel BJES White
 Wins  8
 Loses  4
 Ties  0
 W %  .667 .667
 Runs  104 59

The second seeded SJB Steel team is considered on of the favories in the 14u playoffs due their impressive team totals offensively. Despite only 1 extra base hit by the entire team all session, SJB Steel has been able to put up a league high in runs scored (104). Alex Gioia leads SJB Steel in RBI's (40) while Drew Ruehlicke (30) and Zachary Manorowitz (29) sit closely behind. SJB Steel appears to show good balance throughout thier lineup and should provide a challenge to BJES White in round 1.

Third seeded BJES Whites power threat is supplied by Brandon Sewers (2020 SS, Orland Park, IL). Brandon has collected a team high 15 extra base hits in 72 at-bats during session 1. Jacob Drenthe has driven in the most runs (17) for BJES White, but Jimmy Rybarczyk (2020 OF, Orland Park, IL) does not sit far behind with 11 RBI's of his own. The key for BJES White will be to keep pace with the high scoring SJB Steel team in the early innings.

The winner of game 1 and game 2 will meet this Sunday morning for the 14u national Championship crown at 11:45am CST. Follow the PGNIL on twitter @perfectgame_NIL for up to date game highlights and scores.
