8/24/2014 11:06:51 AM
Alex Eitenmiller (2016 RHP, Dallas, GA) pitched three innings of scoreless baseball, allowing only one hit with three Ks.  Eitenmiller showed good command and plate control which resulted in multiple ground outs and fly outs.  He topped out at 78 MPH with his fastball and mixed it up with a a 65 MPH curve, 71 MPH slider, and 70 MPH change up.

CJ Bush (2016 1B, Nicholasville, KY) went 1-3 with a triple.  Bush has a quick bat and good bat speed with a solid, easy swing.  The 6'1'' 215 lb first baseman showed great hustle and speed on his triple, running a 7.12 in the 60 earlier in the day.

Brady Smith (2016 UT, Anderson, SC) struck out two in one inning of work.  Smith showed good mound presence and filled up the bottom half of the strike zone.  His 86 MPH fastball has nice arm side run to go with a deceptive 74 MPH change up with late life.

Charles Crosby (2016 OF, Albany, GA) went 1-3 on the day and also pitched an inning.  Crosby had good at bats and showed good hands on his line drive single to right field.  He has an up the middle approach at the plate.  Crosby has a quick arm with a clean delivery from the mound.  He topped out at 85 MPH on his fastball from a 3/4 arm slot with an 83 MPH full sidearm fastball as well.  Smith uses both arm angles to mix in his late sinking 74 MPH change up.

Wyatt Hughes (2016 RHP, Atlanta, GA) went 1-3 with a double and a run scored.  Hughes has a short swing and good bat speed.  He used his hands well on a hard line drive double.
