Nasir Stevenson (2027, Newark, N.J.) continued his reign of dominance Championship Monday, consistently smoking balls from gap-to-gap with dangerous intent. The extremely young ‘27 prospect is already showing tools that some ‘24’s haven’t even developed, with raw power potential that can connect during any given pitch. Stevenson showcases extended hands with a big coil to generate momentum and solid weight shift. He worked from a quiet, narrow stance pre-pitch that allowed for the stroke to be repeatable and controlled. Lots to like now and in the future.
