Owen Lawson (2024, Gainesville, Texas) is currently the 13th ranked 2024 RHP in Texas. The 5-foot-10 developing athlete took the first start of the week for Dulins Dodgers Prime – Godwin and earned the win. Lawson’s low-effort delivery is clean with plenty of control of the young frame. The arm path is a short three-quarter release he repeats well, and while the extension is narrow there is fine sync in the operation with solid quick-twitch movement. Through four innings he sat down three, he mixed his pitches well and worked both sides of the plate that produced plenty of soft contact that his defense took care of.
