LSU enters the NCAA postseason as the nation's top-ranked team in the Perfect Game College Top 25 after capturing the SEC tournament title over the weekend.
Both LSU and Vanderbilt, along with Cal State Fullerton, have very compelling cases for the nation's top spot entering the NCAA postseason, but for now, the Tigers get the edge with starting pitchers Aaron Nola and Ryan Eades leading the charge.
Virginia and North Carolina round out the top five, while Indiana and Oregon entered the top 10 this week at No's 8 and 9, respectively.
Elsewhere in the rankings, Virginia Tech and Kansas State continue their upward climb after solid weeks at their respective conference tournaments, while there were plenty of new entrants in this week's rankings.
Oklahoma, Rice, Florida Atlantic and Cal Poly entered this week's rankings, while drops that dropped out include Oklahoma State, Troy, Seton Hall and Ole Miss.
The Perfect Game College Top 25 is released each Monday morning during the college baseball season.
