In talking with scouts this spring in addition to listening to feedback from Perfect Game’s Todd Gold (who lives in the Los Angeles area and is out at games on a daily basis), I have sensed very little buzz for Perfect Game All-American third baseman Kevin Franklin. I have very limited feel for where the Gahr High School product will go in the draft and neither does Todd.

It’s not like Franklin has had a mediocre season on the field, either. He’s hit .462-8-33 with 10 doubles and 15 walks for a 22-5 Gahr team. That production moved up a notch from his .400-7-27 junior season.
