North Carolina and LSU have been the most consistent teams in college baseball so far this season, and after yet another strong weekend by both clubs, they lead the Perfect Game USA College Top 25 at No's 1 and 2, respectively.
While the Tar Heels and Tigers lead the charge, there are some teams not far behind. For instance, the top five is rounded out by No. 3 Vanderbilt, No. 4 Cal State Fullerton and No. 5 Virginia. The Commodores swept Tennessee over the weekend, Fullerton swept Pacific and Virginia took a home series from Miami.
Elsewhere in the top 10, Kentucky moved from No. 9 to No. 6 following another series win, while Oregon State and UCLA dropped to No's 8 and 9, respectively, after tough road series losses to San Diego and Arizona State, respectively.
Other notables in this week's rankings include Louisville vaulting from No. 18 to No. 15 following a home series sweep over Notre Dame, while the Fighting Irish consequently dropped from No. 15 to No. 20. Meanwhile, Ole Miss fell from No. 12 to No. 16 following its second-straight SEC series loss, this time to Florida.
Mississippi State and Texas A&M dropped out of this week's rankings after tough road series losses over the weekend, while Florida Gulf Coast and Missouri State, both models of consistency, moved into the rankings at No's 24 and 25.
