Bobby Wahl may be somewhat of the forgotten man in this year’s college pitching crop. He doesn’t have quite the name recognition of a Mark Appel or Sean Manaea, and his fastball is just shy of Jonathon Crawford’s blistering 97-98 mph heat. But, perhaps it’s about time that changed. Wahl’s pitchability stacks up with any pitcher in the class, and he has the raw stuff to stack up with almost anyone in the class, including a fastball that reaches 96 mph. On top of that, he has the quality track record that’s very difficult to punch any holes in.
