Through personal observation, contact with scouts and input from league managers, we focused on those players who have the greatest chance to succeed at the next level—and beyond.

The depth of prospect information provided in each league varies according to the relative strength of each league, and to a lesser degree the number of teams in the league. In the Cape Cod League alone, we have ranked the top 100 prospects.

We are providing information on each league in two stages. Initially, we provided a raw list (and relevant biographical information) on the top prospects in each league. That information remains available to PG Crosschecker Insider-level subscribers. Our second, more comprehensive instalment provides scouting reports on all the prospects in each league that we ranked. We’ve completed some leagues, and will be finish the balance over the course of the next 2-3 weeks.

That information will be available only to Premium-level subscribers, although we are providing the introduction to each league and the scouting report on the No. 1 prospect for free. Subscriber Information to access scouting reports on the balance of each league’s top prospects is available elsewhere on the PG Crosschecker site.

We’ve provide a link to each league’s top prospects list on the attached chart, both the raw version with a list of prospects only and the more comprehensive version with full scouting reports on each player. The number of players we’ve ranked is also noted. You can also link to each league’s official website for more complete information on the 2008 season.
