Following are some of the top prospects from the recent West Coast Top Prospect Showcase in San Bernardino, California. This isn’t the official top prospect list; that will be posted after the reports are written and the PG Grades assigned, but it represents a quick take on who stood out. Players from the different classes competed together so they are listed together, with their class noted.

LHP Chris Kohler (2013/Los Osos HS, Alta Loma, CA):
Kohler is a silky smooth and projectable 6-2/170 southpaw who topped out at 86 mph with a hard downer curveball. He’s going to keep getting better and better and already has a verbal commitment to USC.
