2023 MLB Draft: Big Names, Small Campus

In this week's installment of 2023 MLB Draft content, the PG Draft Team takes a look at big names from non-Power 5 programs, though some of these schools have proven to produce high-end talent year after year. Take a look as several of these names are already on our latest Top 200 and plenty more will make big noise throughout the spring. 

Joseph Savino, RHP, Elon
Savino had a strong performance on the Cape, working in the upper-80s and up to right around 90 mph at times and filling up the strike zone. He’s a command oriented right-hander with a solid slider and changeup combination. The profile is going to be performance driven but the numbers on the Cape were very good and he’ll have every opportunity to rise this spring.
