The 2022 MLB All Star Futures Game will be loaded with Perfect Game alums yet again this year, with 17 participants who played in either the PG National Showcase, All-American Classic, or both.

There are nine Futures Game participants who played in both the National Showcase and All-American Classic, all now finding themselves as top prospects in professional baseball. Those nine, in alphabetical order: Corbin Carroll (Diamondbacks), Pete Crow-Armstrong (Cubs), Kyle Harrison (Giants), Robert Hassell III (Padres), Gunnar Henderson (Orioles), Jack Leiter (Rangers), Zac Veen (Rockies), Anthony Volpe (Yankees), and Jordan Walker (Cardinals).

The following players were selected to the Futures Game and participated in the PG National Showcase: Darren Baker (Nationals), Michael Burrows (Pirates), Henry Davis (Pirates), Bobby Miller (Dodgers), Spencer Steer (Twins), Ricky Tiedemann (Blue Jays), David Villar (Giants), and Masyn Winn (Cardinals).

The 2022 Perfect Game National Showcase will be held from July 20-24 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. To date, more than 500 National participants have gone on to play in the Major Leagues, with over 2,600 participants hearing their names called in the MLB Draft.

The 2022 Perfect Game All-American Classic will be held on August 28 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Ariz. Standout prospects from the National Showcase will earn an invite to the prestigious event, in which over 250 alums have made their MLB debut and almost as many have heard their name called in the first round of the MLB Draft.
