Andre Sweet (2026, Canton, Ga.), a 5-foot-11, 135-pound right-handed hitter, finished the weekend with a .500 batting average over 13 plate appearances for the GA Academy Athletics club. The primary shortstop found the barrel with four singles and a double with zero strikeouts and a walk for a .538 on-base percentage. He scored four runs and stole four bases with hits in three of the five games. Sweet also contributed on the bump with a save against the Cobb Hawks 14u with 1 2/3 innings of scoreless ball in the 8-3 victory.
