Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend signifies the first major tournament action on the Perfect Game schedule each year. Three tournaments - the PG East, West, and South MLK Championships - are held simultaneously across the country with hundreds of teams getting their first real game action of the year.

PerfectGame.TV will be broadcasting from the PG East MLK Championship from Jan. 14-17 from the 5-Plex in Fort Myers, Fla. To tune in for free, either download the PG.TV app or go to PerfectGame.TV to watch the available Field Pass channels.

PG East MLK Championship

Over 150 teams across nine age divisions will be in Fort Myers from Jan. 14-17 to play in the PG East MLK Championship, from 10u all the way up to the Upperclass division.

As has become the norm, there will be plenty of talent on display on the Gulf this weekend. The 14u division will include highly-ranked 2026 prospects Brayden Harris (No. 20 overall), Ethan Wheeler (No. 46 overall), and Ethan Armstrong (No. 52 overall). The 15u division boasts 13 top-300 2025 prospects on rosters for the event, with four top-100 players (Jackson Miller, Taylor Belza, Cameron Uzzillia, and Patrick Dudley) in the mix.

The depth of talent in the Sophomore division is intriguing, highlighted by top-50 2024 prospects Andre' Modugno, Fabio Peralta, and Anthony Tralongo. Auburn commit Colton Wombles headlines the talent in the Underclass division, while Perfect Game All-American Jayson Jones is rostered for 3n2 Sticks Baseball - Brewster in the Upperclass.

The PG East MLK will host teams primarily from Florida, although 19 states and Puerto Rico will all be represented.

Phoenix, Ariz. will play host to the ninth annual West MLK Championship from Jan. 14-17, with 93 teams across the Freshman, Underclass, and Upperclass divisions vying for a title.

West Coast talent will be on full display in the Freshman division. US Nationals 15u Scout has four top-100 prospects rostered in Gavin Richars, Jase DeSantis, Tyler Wood, and Ryker Benz. Trosky National 2025 will also be stout, with Trey Morris (No. 39 overall), Quinten Marsh (No. 150), and Rashad Hayes (No. 156 overall) all rostered.

Artillery Baseball 2023 Scout Team is set up for success on paper in the Underclass division, with eight of the top 14 players set to attend the event donning their uniform. Artillery Baseball will be led by the top-ranked 2023 rostered at the event, AJ Gracia. The list of commitments at the Underclass level is impressive, with schools like Duke, Tennessee, Oregon State, San Diego State, Stanford, and a number of other Power 5 schools boasting commits.

Aggies National has three Perfect Game All-Americans and four top-100 2022 prospects on their roster in the Upperclass division, led by No. 1 overall prospect Termarr Johnson. Fellow All-Americans RJ Austin and Kaden Martin join Johnson on the Aggies National roster. Dominic Hellman, another PG All-American, is rostered for GBG Northwest Jumpman.
