Jaxton Andeel (2022, Placentia, Calif.) is coming off a long layoff due to some injuries, but the Orange Lutheran southpaw flashed some pretty high upside in a recent outing versus Villa Park. Lean and athletic, the lefty worked 87-89 with the fastball with an easy and repeatable delivery. Andeel backed up the fastball with a tight curveball in the mid-70s with spin in the 2400 RPM range. Orange Lutheran will need plenty of arms playing three games a week in one of the toughest leagues in the country and Andeel looks primed to have a big roll on a deep and talented squad.



Alex Ramos (2022, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) worked primarily out of the 'pen in 2021 and will look to establish himself as one of the Saints' key starters in 2022. Ramos has a lean frame that will hold some weight as the body matures. He has a quick arm that can run the fastball up to 90 with late life that can get swings and misses. His main secondary is a big breaking curveball at 72-75 that can be another swing-and-miss offering. Command can be an issue for Ramos at time, but when he is around the glove he has the stuff to eat a lot of innings for the Saints.


Aiden Taurek (2022, Santa Ana, Calif.) is a true two-way player that can be a force both in the batters box and on the mound. He returns to the middle of the lineup for Foothill as one of the offensive leaders that, as a team, put up runs in bunches in 2021. Aiden is well built with broad shoulders and noticeable strength throughout his frame. Sneaky good runner who put up a 6.58 60 at the Trop at PG National. On the mound, Taurek should eat a lot of innings in 2022 working w/ a fastball up to 90 and multiple breaking balls.
 
Andrew Campbell, (2022, Riverside, Calif.) is an interesting two-way player at 6-foot-1, 185-pound athlete with excellent frame with strength throughout. Strong arm plays in right field and showed off his power, winning the home run derby at the Austin Gorrell Baseball Classic. Has continued to show improvements on both sides of the ball as his body has matured, showing gains in velocity with the fastball now running up to 90.

Aaron Petersen (2022, Sierra Madre, Calif.) is 6-foot-1, 195 pounds, and offers a nice blend of athleticism, projection and deception from the left side. The fastball works mid- to upper-80s with late life and he features a curveball with solid shape (and spin flirting with 2500 RPM) and an occasional changeup in the low-70s. Fun to watch when he’s commanding the fastball, will pound the arm-side corner and bend the breaking ball under the hands of right-handed hitters looking for the fastball.

Gabriel Pancratz (2022, Westlake Village, Calif.) has a projectable frame you can dream on and is currently growing into his strength and power at 6-foot-7, 210 pounds. Long arms and legs and room to add all around. Pancratz is really athletic for his long frame and runs extremely well. Has over-the-fence power potential with tremendous bat speed. Pancratz shows solid defensive actions at first base and has the ability to pick balls in the dirt. On the mound he forces a lot of weak contact. The fastball sits in the mid-80s and topped out at 88 this fall. Fastball really gets on the hitter because of his extension and release point.

Adam Baggetta (2022, Huntington Beach, Calif.) has an athletic build with room to add physicality. Top-of-the-lineup hitter with a plus arm and run tool. Instinctive, disruptive baserunner that wreaks havoc on the defense. Flashes his power from time-to-time, but has shown the ability to spray the ball to all fields with authority. Defensively, Baggetta gets excellent jumps on balls and can track like a greyhound in the gaps. Exhibits excellent range.

Ryan Coppock (2022, Whittier, Calif.) has a 6-foot-4, 170-pound long, lean frame with ample room to add weight and muscle. Coppock is a late bloomer that has popped up recently in the fall and made a big impression. A projectable starter profile with pitchability and feel for three pitches.

Christian Miranda (2022, Porter Ranch, Calif.) exhibits a plus hit tool. Profiles as a top-of-the-lineup type hitter that can control the barrel and spray balls to all fields. Shows excellent technique and body control that complements his natural athleticism on defense. Displays acrobatic ability with smooth, quick hands and actions with a quick release. Miranda shows creativity on balls at the end of his range.

Tino Valdez (2022, Los Angeles, Calif.) has a 6-foot-2, 170-pound lean, athletic build with significant physical projection remaining. Has the ability to do many things well on a baseball field. Has showed gap-to-gap power. Consistently makes solid contact and has excellent pitch selection. Future is on the mound where he is a strikethrower and has the ability to land three pitches consistently.

Chase Cummings (2022, Orange, Calif.) is a Swiss army knife type player that you can insert anywhere in the lineup and you will get solid defense and offense. Will be counted on in this role for the Lancers all year. Can handle the bat well with the skill to do all the little things well. High baseball IQ.

Owen Fuller (2022, Ladera Ranch, Calif.) is an athletic skill player with the tools. Fuller is an instinctive player with the ability to handle the bat and hit behind runners. Displayed gap-to-gap power. Top-of-the-lineup hitter with above-average defensive actions. Average speed but opportunistic on the basepaths.

Cameron Rowe (2022, San Diego, Calif.) has excellent catch-and-throw abilities and is very accurate. Swings the bat well, has flashed over-the-fence power potential. Displays good hand separation on load with excellent bat speed.

Tyler Prystajko (2022, Huntington Beach, Calif.) features a strong, lean, athletic, prototypical pitcher's frame. Demonstrates a simple, balanced delivery with good hip coil. Bully attitude on the mound with excellent competitiveness. Still working on the accuracy but demonstrates the ability to land the breaking ball consistently. Fastball topped out at 89 in the fall.


Daniel Marquez (2022, West Covina, Calif.) has displayed a solid pitch mix on the mound. It’s a clean operation down the mound with quick arm speed. The fastball sat 84-87 mph topping out at 91 mph with arm-side run. The right-hander showed the ability to locate it well on both sides of the plate. He paired it with a curveball that sat 74 mph. It has tight, sharp break with the ability to get whiffs when thrown well. The fastball/curveball combination worked well together and the ability to generate quick outs was really impressive to watch. He also showed his athleticism on the mound and fielded his position well.
