Damarcus Broughton (2026, Semmes, Ala.) has a strong physical frame with strength that shows up in his right-handed swing. Through the first four games of pool play, Broughton hit .353, including three multi-hit games, as well as an inside-the-park home run. He is able to match plane well coming through the zone with the ability to create lift on the ball. This type of approach allows him to find this kind of success in the middle of the order. At 6-foot-2, 160 pounds, he still shows plenty of room to fill out and continue to add strength moving forward.

Taylor Casson (2026, Atlanta, Ga.) has a lean athletic build with plenty of length to project on moving forward. At 6-foot, 143 pounds, he uses the length in his frame well with long strides to cover ground on both sides of the ball. He found the barrel multiple times with two doubles as he hit over .400 through the first four games with three runs scored and three more RBI. Casson bounce around this weekend, playing multiple positions defensively in the infield as well as in the outfield. His long strides once again work in his favor at either position allowing him to eat up ground as he tracks down baseballs.
