Fall West Championship Scout Notes: Days 1-2

Adam Plascencia (2026, Fresno, Calif.) showcased his potential on the bump for CBA Marlins. The southpaw had a potent two-pitch mix that missed a good amount of barrels. Fastball sat 71-72 mph and topped out at 75 mph. Showed good feel for a low-60s breaking ball with subtle 11-5 shape and depth. Pounded the zone glove side, but ate up too much of the middle of the plate at times. Has a projectable frame and is a good bet to make added strength gains. Solid athlete on both ends; creates downhill extension in his delivery with his long limbs. Intriguing package that continues to develop.
