Colton Klapprodt (2024, Haslet, Texas) has some big-time potential at the plate. The big switch-hitting catcher has a big frame with long levers and lots of present strength. His swing is pretty similar from both sides but a little bit more refined left-handed. His swing is a bit handsy with a downward bat path but he frequently found the barrel from both sides and had a three hit game on Sunday. Slight toe-tap pre pitch and stays balanced. There’s some nice power potential here if he can get a few areas of the swing ironed out, already has a good feel for the barrel presently. Defensively, he presents a big target behind the dish and has a strong arm.
