We are coming down to the wire in JUCO baseball in a lot of places, with conference tournaments on the horizon and the various JUCO World Series' also looming. The Panhandle is especially interesting this week, with Northwest Florida State seemingly having locked up their spot in the FCSAA tourney, but with Chipola and Pensacola State still jockeying for that final spot. PSCC and Chipola play this week, and Chipola will need to win both games as well as needs Northwest Florida to take their series from Pensacola this weekend in order to advance. Fun stuff!

To the Top 25. The top four remain the same this week. Walters State holds steady at No. 1 overall at 49-3, with Wabash Valley right behind them at 37-3, coming off a massive series win over John A. Logan. Crowder lost their 30-game win streak but still had a big week and hold steady at No. 3 with a record of 41-5, with LSU-Eunice right behind all of them at No. 4 with a 41-4 mark.

Eastern Oklahoma State vaults back into the top-five this week, they are 40-3 overall and we detail them in this week's JUCO Weekly PGTV episode. Cowley is up to their highest rank of the season at No. 6 overall with a 32-6 record, while Florence-Darlington continues to rise right behind them - they, too, are up to their highest rank of the season at No. 7. San Jac moves up a few spots to No. 8 as they clinched the conference championship this past week. Central Arizona fell a few spots down to No. 9 overall following a two-loss week, and rounding out the top-10 is Lansing, with a record of 28-1, they push their way into the top-10 for the first time this season.

Elsewhere, it's another big jump for Catawba Valley out of North Carolina, they are up five spots to No. 17 overall with a record of 36-8. Southern Nevada looks like they may have gotten back on track and rise up to No. 20 overall, though a big series with Salt Lake looms. Temple is back in the Top 25 this week at No. 18 overall, and we welcome Hagerstown to the Top 25 as well at No. 25 overall.
