Auburn Jr. High 8th Grade Team put on quite the offensive display this weekend, scoring 28 runs in four games. The Tigers offense got off to a hot start, scoring 12 runs in their first game on Friday night, led by the top of their order, and they road their hot bats all the way to a championship game appearance.
Harrison Geiger (2025, Auburn, Ala.) finished the tournament as the leading offensive performer on the team, hitting .500 with two doubles. He proved to be a true run-producing threat in the middle of the lineup for the Tigers, driving in four runs and coming across to score four more. He showed good barrel-to-ball skills with some juice to the pull side and the ability to consistently impact the ball out front.
