Chase Call (2021, Porter Ranch, Calif.), a UC Irvine commit, started off his year at the plate on a tear hitting over .500 on the first day of the tournament with all three of his hits going for extra bases. He is able to stay connected throughout the swing allowing the barrel to stay in the zone a long time as he wore out the opposite field all day. He does a nice job setting the table for the PFA Matadors 2021 from the leadoff spot. His production carried on throughout the tournament as he would go on to wrap up his weekend hitting .455 and capped it off with a no-doubt home run contributing to his 1.481 OPS.
