2020 was a weird year in terms of the MLB Draft. As with most of the country, baseball experienced an upheaval due to the global pandemic and, as such, future drafts and the sport entirely are going to be looking a little bit different moving forward. The 2021 draft is looking to be around 20 rounds and was moved back into mid-July, which allows for another couple of weeks to be added for the age cut off concerning players who will be eligible in their second year.
