Aidan Miller, 3B/RHP, Class of 2023
Commitment: Arkansas

Tabbed as the 14u Player of the Year at the 2019 Select Festival, not much has changed a year later as Miller continues to excel on both sides of the ball and is a legitimate two-way option at the next level for the Razorbacks when he eventually gets to Fayetteville. Miller, who stands out for his physical 6-foot-2, 200 pound frame, is listed as a primary third baseman and it’s easy to envision him hitting for plenty of power while playing advanced defense at the hot corner as his skill on both sides already stand out as some of the best in the country. Add into the equation that Miller was up to 93 mph on the mound this fall and you’re talking about a special talent as he pounds the strike zone and mixes a sharp mid-70s curveball. The arm strength, bat speed, and athleticism all stand out for Miller, who only seems to be elevating his game each time we see him.

Kendall George, OF, Class of 2023
Commitment: Arkansas

While not overly physical at 5-foot-10, 150 pounds, the left-handed hitting George proved to be a consistent performer this past summer, frequently putting the ball in play while getting on base and allowing his above average speed to go to work. His swing is simple as he works on a linear plane and can spray the ball around the yard with comfort with quick hands and present bat speed. The speed component for George puts immediate pressure on defenses whether he reads the third baseman is playing back and drops down a bunt or simply puts the ball in play and makes the defender rush through their actions knowing the type of speed he possesses. It continues to appear in the outfield as well as he covers ground, showing off his quick-twitch athleticism.

Outlook for the Class: Adding a player of Miller’s caliber to their class is huge for Head Coach Dave Van Horn and his staff, especially when you consider Miller lives in Florida where plenty of high-end programs are in close proximity. Currently ranked No. 3 in the country, Miller adds to a class that is now 10 deep and brings a needed offensive element as he’s the only primary bat among their top six ranked commits, all of whom check in among Perfect Game’s Top 225. Miller joins left-hander Hayden Thomas (South Carolina) as the only commits outside of Arkansas, Missouri, and Texas, showing they have the reach and ability to pull talent from the East Coast when a player catches their eye.

A week or so after landing Miller, the coaching staff added another potential impact piece to their offense in George who most recently checked in at No. 305 in the class rankings. The lone primary outfielder of the group, George is also the only left-handed bat thus far and his overall skillset could provide a spark to both sides of the ball.
