Southeast Select Scout Notes

Jared McRobert (2021, Woodstock, Ga.) is a 6-foot-1, 170 pound highly ranked outfielder from Sequoyah High School. A senior this fall, McRobert earned the start for his club, Titans Baseball 17u Blue on Friday night and did not disappoint going the first two innings, allowing a hit, no runs or walks, and punched out four. On the mound, McRobert uses an even tempo wind-up and deploys good balance and rhythm through delivery. Jared ran his fastball up into the low eighties, and rounded out his repertoire with a curveball, high of seventy-three mph, with some shape and depth, and a changeup with decent sell and fade in the low seventies. McRobert only needed twenty-three pitches to complete the first two innings on Friday night, throwing nearly eighty percent of his offerings for strikes.
