2022 Top Prospects

Cade Kurland  SS - 2022 - Tampa, FL
Florida

Kurland displayed one of the quickest bats at the event to go along with his big arm from the infield, 88 mph during drills. He is a steady defender and projects to stay on the left side.

2023 Top Prospects

Aidan Miller  SS - 2023 - Trinity, FL
Arkansas

It's clear that Miller has spent time adding strength to his frame and his right-handed swing produced monster bat speed all weekend. He threw 93 mph from the outfield, looked very good during infield drills, and peaked at 90 during his short outing on the mound. The ceiling is insanely high.

James Hays  RHP - 2023 - Hawkinsville, GA
Georgia

One of the top right-handers in the entire class of 2023 took the mound and showed why he is so highly ranked. Hays has a three pitch mixture that he can manipulate and is comfortable throwing any pitch in any count. The fastball is up to 93 mph, the slider is sharp and already a hammer while the changeup is deceptive and fading.

Braden Holcomb  SS - 2023 - Ocoee, FL
Vanderbilt

There is massive power in the right-handed swing of the 6-5/220 Holcomb. The Vandy commit is a very good athlete with great body control in the field, he has soft hands a threw 92 mph across the infield. He also ran a 6.82 in the sixty and took good in-game at bats.

Walker Jenkins  OF - 2023 - Oak Island, NC
North Carolina

Jenkins made a loud statement during the event. A North Carolina commit, the left handed hitting outfielder made the field look small during BP and also ran a 6.75 and threw 93 from the outfield. The tools carried over to the game notching a handful of hits including a ground rule double.

Dylan Cupp  SS - 2023 - Cedartown, GA
Mississippi State

Cupp has big time instincts at the short stop position to go a long with a lightning quick transfer and plenty of arm to stay the the position. The Mississippi State commit has a loose swing and his offensive game is only strength away from matching his defensive chops.

Trenton Lape  3B - 2023 - Bossier City, LA
Louisiana State

The LSU commit ran a 6.76 and leaned on balls during his BP round, driving the ball all over the park. Lape showed huge arm strength on the mound sitting 91-93 with the fastball and some life to the pitch.

Tommy Roldan  LHP - 2023 - Poolesville, MD
Virginia

There may be a split camp moving forward regarding Roldan. The Virginia commit ran a 6.91 sixty, threw 91 from the outfield and 89 from first base. He also has a classic left-handed swing that plays well in games. Then the 2 way prospect touched 91 early before settling in the mid 80s while landing his breaking ball at will from the left side.

Tucker Holland  LHP - 2023 - Burlington, NC
Arkansas

A large and very physical left-hander with power to his stuff up to 90 mph from the left side. Holland has a pair of distant breaking balls to go with his repertoire and each project well as does his overall profile.

Travis Sykora  RHP - 2023 - Round Rock, TX
Texas

A very projectable frame and a fast arm plus huge power potential at the plate along with athleticism in the infield makes Sykora a highly regarded two-way prospect. The right-hander was up to 91 mph on the mound and 94 across the diamond with a lot of power potential shown in batting practice.

Drew Burress  OF - 2023 - Perry, GA
Georgia Tech

Chase Meyer  RHP - 2023 - Lincolnton, NC

Meyer is very intriguing on the mound, the right hander touched 89 with his fastball and varied the shape of his breaking ball as much as he varied his tempo/delivery. The Georgia commit is already showing swing and miss stuff.

Zach Wadas  1B - 2023 - Phoenix, AZ
TCU

Wadas continues to show some of the best raw juice of anyone in the class during the very early evaluation process. Though it is early, he has loft power and the deepest parts of the yard cannot even contain the left handed pop of the TCU commit. He also ran a 6.85 in the sixty.

Brayden Buchanan  C - 2023 - Austin, TX

North Carolina State

There is a lot to like in the overall game of Wimbish. There are clear catch and throw skills as he popped a 1.93 with carry and accuracy. His powerful frame also produces well above average bat speed that should lead to future power.
