15u WWBA Scout Notes: Day 1

Sam Falace (2022 Niskayuna, N.Y.) made the long trip from New York this week and made the most out of his start today. The long, lean lefthanded pitcher shows plenty of room to fill on the frame, making him ultra-projectable. He flashes a fluid arm action as he delivers from a high three-quarter slot. The heater shows to get on hitters’ hands in a hurry as it flashed hard arm side run. Curveball showing 1-6 movement as it generates depth. Good out pitch as he got some weak contact with it. Falace finished the day with six punchouts and gave up just a hit in four innings of work. He is currently uncommitted but is starting to generate some interest from big schools and will more than likely find his home at the next level at some point this year.
