Northeast Region: Connecticut, Maine, Massuchusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont

The Northeast Region is loaded with talent this year and that doesn’t look like it’s going to change soon, as there are six juniors on the 2020 Dream Team, a number that would have been even greater had hard-throwing righthander Nick Bitsko not re-classified to the senior class. While outfielder Austin Hendrick, who might be the first high school position player selected in the June draft, leads a strong offense, the pitching staff might be even deeper, led by Bitsko, PG All-American righthander Alex Santos and hard-throwing junior Chase Petty.

Four Northeast teams start the season ranked in the Perfect Game 2020 High School Top 50, led by 23rd-ranked St. Augustine Prep of New Jersey and their two-way standout, Kenneth Levari. Red Land High School (Pa.), led by outfielder Bennie Montgomery, checks in at 34th, while Bergen Catholic (N.J.) at 38th and Poly Prep Country Day (N.Y.) also claim Top 50 spots.

C – Joe Mack
Mack is one of the top hitters in the 2021 class nationally, with a strong lefthanded swing that combines plus bat speed with outstanding barrel control. The Clemson commit hit .462-4-28 during his sophomore spring before hitting .375-5-35 in 133 at-bats during the summer at WWBA tournaments while playing for the East Cobb Astros. Mack also hit .400-0-6 and was named to the All-Tournament team playing up an age at the WWBA World Championship in October.
