2020 Preseason High School Team Reports (21-30)

21. Hamilton Huskies (Chandler, Ariz.)
2019 Record: 26-7*
Notable Standout(s): LHP Brock Selvidge (LSU), OF Michael Brueser (Arizona State), C Tyler Wilson (Grand Canyon)

The Huskies have been the class of Arizona for the better part of a decade now under the tutelage of long-time head coach Mike Woods. Hamilton once again will be in the mix for a state title after capturing the crown in 2019 and the Huskies bring back a lot of pieces. The physical Michael Brueser returns to hit in the middle of the lineup after leading the team with 12 home runs a year ago while Tyler Wilson and Will Maxey (Kansas) both hit over .400 last year and will flank Brueser in the lineup. Brock Selvidge will be the staff ace and will look to replace a number of departing seniors while sophomore Logan Saloman was a bright spot as a freshman with an ERA under 2.00.
