For the 14th year, Perfect Game has named a Minor League All-Star Team. Annually, the team serves as a sort of preview for who will next become impact players at the Major League level. The list is compiled with players who had big years in the Minor Leagues, of course, and who also attended a Perfect Game event while in high school.

A few players to have made the team in previous seasons includes Mike Trout, Kris Bryant, Javier Baez, Clayton Kershaw, Mookie Betts, Buster Posey, and many other MLB All-Stars.

Here are the links to previous teams:

2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012
2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018

Fun Facts:

The three Padres first-rounders are the most for a team since the Dodgers had three in 2016 (Rob Segedin, Chase De Jong, and Brock Stewart). San Diego had three second-teamers last year. The future is bright out there.

Kyle Tucker and Gavin Lux are back on the team from last year. Lux makes the first-team for the second year in a row, while Tucker spent the past two years on the first team before moving to the second team this year.

Walsh, Diaz, France, Lux, Grisham, Cron, Wong, Neuse, Tucker, and Hilliard were all called up to the Big Leagues at one point this season. The 10 players to play in MLB this season from the Minor League All-Star Team is one more than last year.

There are 10 players who made the All-Star teams who are former Perfect Game All-Americans: Campusano, Lux, Waters, Grisham, Gore, Corry, Manning, Mountcastle, Tucker, and Kelenic.

In addition to the all-stars listed above, further congratulations are in order for the players honored by the respective leagues they played in after being named the player or pitcher of the year. Here are those players who have previously attended a Perfect Game event:
