Top 2021-22 Recruiting Classes

Recruiting Rankings | 2021 High School Player Rankings

After breaking down the top recruiting classes from the 2019 class, and the top 10 from the class of 2020, below is a quick (and very early) look at the top 5 programs for the college recruiting class of 2021.


1. Miami

Full 2021-22 Recruiting Class
Head Coach: Gino DeMare | Recruiting Coordinator: Nortberto Lopez

This class still has more than two years until they sign their National Letters of Intent but the Hurricanes have an abundance of wealth already locked up, leading to the top ranking. Already 16 players deep, half of whom are ranked within the top 100, this group’s top three recruits are righthanded pitchers in Irving Carter, Alejandro Rosario and Nick Anello. Carter is one of the top arms in the class currently thanks to his advanced feel and pitchability on the mound while Rosario and Anello are both about the power fastball, already touching 94 and 92 mph, respectively. Add in pitchers like Carlos Rodriguez, Karson Ligon, Chase LeBlanc, Gage Ziehl and Justin Webster and it’s clear the staff put an emphasis on locking up talented arms early on. Infielder Dorian Gonzalez along with outfielder Bryant Colon and two-way Lorenzo Carrier have all played in the PG Select Festival over the last two years and are the top three ranked positional players in this group. They are joined by shortstop Alex Ulloa as prospects ranked within the top 100 nationally. The depth of this class is already well noted from pure hitters in Gonzalez and Colon to speedster Corey Robinson and slick defenders such as Ulloa and Ariel Garcia.


2. Louisville
