Eli Riley
OF - 2018 - Harrisburg, PA
Uncommitted
When you look for high level tools you have to go no further than Riley, an uncommitted outfielder from Pennsylvania. Riley has elite speed, recorded a 60-yard dash in 6.56 seconds, to go along with a very strong arm that was recorded up to 89 mph in the infield. He also has a lot of strength off the barrel head when squared at the plate.
Joseph Smith
OF - 2018 - Brunswick, GA
Palm Beach State
Another player who showed off exemplary tools was Smith who ran a 6.55 second 60-yard dash and threw 87 mph from the outfield. The uncommitted Georgia native is very twitchy and athletic while having lots of raw tools, even at the plate where he showed off good bat speed and performed well in game.
Hernhy Lara
3B - 2018 - Dorchester, MA
Uncommitted
Lara showed off pretty strong offensive tools with a simple, easy trigger into the swing and loose hands that work through the baseball well. There is intriguing pop in the swing with natural loft and is able to impact the baseball very hard.
Joathan Rivera Rodriguez
RHP - 2018 - Caguas, PR
Pratt CC
Rodriguez showed a good degree of polish on the mound as the physical righthander was able to run his fastball up in the mid-80s while showing a clean arm action. The uncommitted arm is able to create lots of angle and plane while showing very good feel for a changeup that plays off his fastball extremely well.
Daniel Galvan
RHP - 2018 - Key West, FL
Uncommitted
Galvan showed off a strong two-pitch mix with good arm speed and a shorter arm action through release. Galvan is a good athlete and that allows him to repeat his delivery well and he can run his fastball up to 84 mph while mixing in a tight breaking ball.
Juan D Alvarado Pagan
C - 2018 - Santa Isabel, PR
Uncommitted
Pagan showed off why he's a bit of a swiss army knife on the baseball diamond, performing well in multiple aspects of the game. He recorded a 60-yard dash in under 7.00 seconds, showed off good arm strength and actions both in the outfield and behind the plate, and performed well as a switch hitter offensively.
Matthew Panzica
OF - 2019 - Maple, ON CAN
Niagara
Coming down from Ontario, Canada, Panzica showed off high-level two-way ability over the weekend. Panzica is a good athlete, recorded a 60-yard dash in 6.90 seconds, and the arm strength plays out well not only on the mound but in the outfield where he threw 86 mph. He projects nicely on the mound with good command of his offspeed.
Jose Daniel Pichardo
C - 2020 - Miami, FL
Uncommitted
A native of the Dominican Republic, Pichardo showed off a strong offensive approach as well as good fundamentals behind the plate. Pichardo has a very easy and simple trigger into his swing that has requisite levels of strength and he is able to find a lot of barrels for consistently hard contact.
