The Path to Jupiter

Starting this weekend on the Perfect Game Park South fields at LakePoint in Georgia a series of qualifying events for the 2017 WWBA World Championship begin, starting with the WWBA Southeast Qualifier #1. At these events the winning team will earn a paid invitation to play in Jupiter for a chance to take home the most coveted championship trophy of them all.

These qualifying events are spread out across the county and will continue through early October. The WWBA World Championship is played at the Roger Dean Sports Complex, the spring training home of the Miami Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals, in Jupiter, Fla., and this year will be played October 19-23.

Here is a list of those events:

WWBA Southeast Qualifier #1 September 8-11 Emerson, Ga.
WWBA Northeast Qualifier September 15-18 Vineland, N.J.
WWBA South Qualifier September 15-18 Tomball, Texas
WWBA Southeast Qualifier #2 September 22-24 Emerson, Ga.
WWBA National Qualifier Sept. 29 – Oct. 1 Emerson, Ga.
WWBA Kernels Foundation Champ. Sept. 29 – Oct. 2 Cedar Rapids, Iowa
WWBA Florida Qualifier Sept. 29 – Oct. 2 Fort Myers, Fla.

This year the WWBA Freshman World Championship will accompany the WWBA World Championship in West Palm Beach at The Ballpark of The Palm Beaches. The WWBA Underclass World Championship will return to Fort Myers, Fla., October 5-9, while Perfect Game is proud to introduce the inaugural WWBA Sophomore World Championship, October 13-16, also in Fort Myers.
