Friday Recap | Saturday Recap

Another week of the college baseball season has come and gone, and once again we have a new number one in the national rankings. Following another stellar week in which they went 4-0, including a sweep over Wichita State and a mid-week win against Oklahoma, Texas Christian now finds themselves on top of the heap. Once again, we see that same strong group in the top five, as they continue to perform consistently. The Horned Frogs, as well as LSU, Florida, Vanderbilt, and Texas A&M all have the look of teams that are in it for the long haul, and we'll continue to get more clarity as they face more and more quality opponents.

Continuing their hard charge up the top 25 ladder this week is Arizona State, as they leap to ninth following their sweep of Stanford over the weekend. Following a rocky road over the last couple weeks, Virginia appears to have taken a step toward righting the ship, as they went 4-0 this week and swept Notre Dame. Southern California and Dallas Baptist simply continue to rack up wins, and they have made the jump to 16th and 17th respectively.

Three teams are making their rankings debut this week, as Nebraska, California, and Arizona have forced their way into the top 25 with their consistent play. Nebraska is coming off a particularly impressive weekend sweep over the Texas Longhorns.
