CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Rosters for the 12th edition of the Perfect Game All-American Classic will be released at 2 p.m. central time on Sunday, July 20. Once the rosters are released there will be a selection show breaking down the 50 players selected to participate that will be streamed online at www.perfectgame.org and www.pgallamerican.com that will be hosted by Perfect Game's Daron Sutton and David Rawnsley.

Perfect Game will also conduct a one hour radio broadcast further discussing the roster release and the players on it that evening. The program will begin one hour before the Sunday night baseball game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the St. Louis Cardinals, kicking off at 7:00 p.m. EST.

The program will be available on MLB Radio's Sirius channel 209 or XM channel 89.

The 2014 Perfect Game All-American Classic will take place on Sunday, August 10 starting at 5:00 p.m. PDT and will once again be played at Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres, and will be televised on MLB Network.

Since the game's inception in 2003, 82 players that have previously played in the event have made their big league debuts. Another 149 have been selected in the first round of the MLB Draft, with seven of those players going No. 1 overall – Matt Bush, Justin Upton, Tim Beckham, Gerrit Cole, Bryce Harper, Carlos Correa, and Brady Aiken.

Other notable alumni include Nick Adenhart and Gio Gonzalez (20013); Buster Posey, Jeremy Hellickson, and Andrew McCutchen (2004); Madison Bumgarner, Matt Harvey, Jason Heyward, and Rick Porcello (2006); Gerrit Cole and Jameson Taillon (2009); Jose Fernandez (2010); and Brady Aiken, Tyler Kolek, Nick Gordon, and Alex Jackson from last year's Classic.

The proceeds from the Perfect Game All-American Classic help in the battle against pediatric cancer, with over $750,000 already raised. The 2014 version of the Classic will include an even stronger focus on raising money for the event's beneficiary, Rady Children's Hospital. Every player selected to participate will conduct an online fundraising contest to spread awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer and raise money for the cause.
