Klassen is one of the most improved pitchers in the country over the last year as he has started to fill out his slender young build and added significant velocity to his fastball and spin to his curveball while showing an improved ability to throw strikes. The Wisconsin native dominated at the PG National Showcase, topping out at 94 mph with an outstanding power curveball at 80-82 mph that paralyzed good hitters and came back the next week at the WWBA 17u National Championship to throw five one-hit innings.
