Abel enters the 2019 All-American Classic as the top-ranked player in the 2020 class, an honor he earned after a dominant performance at the PG National Showcase in June. Abel worked steadily in the 95-97 mph range for his two innings from a loose and very low effort, athletic delivery. His 85-87 mph slider was a present plus pitch with power and sharpness and he flashed a nice changeup to complete his three-pitch arsenal.
