Baz is a very athletic righthander who works in the 92-95 mph range with his fastball from a high three-quarters arm slot. He's developed an upper-80s cutter this summer that has the potential to be a plus pitch and he also throws a power curveball and a changeup for a full starter's set of pitches. His main area of future development will be in his fastball command. Baz also is a two-way player who has very impressive righthanded power at the plate.
