Since 2006, the Perfect Game All-American Classic has been fundraising for the Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego. To date, this event has raised more than $560,000 for pediatric cancer treatment and research at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego.

Recognized as the world leader in holding high-level amateur baseball events, Perfect Game supports pediatric cancer treatment and research while showcasing the nation's top young players. Each year, Perfect Game facilitates more than 100 showcase events across the country. One of these premier events is the All-American Classic, which has seen more Major League Baseball draft picks, including first-round pickssuch as San Diego native, Brady Aiken—than any other individual baseball event over the past seven years.

The All-American players enjoy a week of baseball, service to a worthy cause, camaraderie and national exposure. With the goal of shaping these young players into fine young men both on and off the field, all players must be in good academic standing and display redeeming qualities that embody the ideals of the sport of baseball, including leadership, discipline, determination and commitment.

In 2014, the All-American Classic brought 53 young athletes from across the U.S. together to compete at the highest amateur level. The competition occurred in an East versus West matchup to showcase their abilities.

The event proved to be highly successful both on and off the field, as players collected nearly 550 gifts and raised more than $60,000 for pediatric cancer research at the Peckham Center.

Since the event's inception in 2003 over $850,000 has been raised to raise awareness and help find a cure for childhood cancer. With more than a week left, this year the 50-plus PG All-Americans have already raised over $30,000. Here are the top 10 efforts:
