Diego Casorla is a 2024 3B/1B, OF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Abraham Lincoln. Ran a 8.16 second sixty. Primary third baseman with an average build. Funnels the ball well to his mid line on the infield after working to the right side of the ball allowing the footwork to continue to throughs he fielding process. Showed a longer arm action with young arm strength across the diamond. Waits back on the ball in the outfield fielding it off the left foot with a short gather into a short arm action with average carry to the bases. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base using a simple load. Bat path works direct to the baseball looking to use the opposite with a level to down hill swing plane showing flashes of above average bat speed. Good student.
