Lindsay Malkames is a 5'2, class of 2023 OF/3B from Gardner, KS who attends Gardner Edgerton HS. Lindsay is a veteran, upper class player, with a solid fundamental approach to her game, She is especially advanced with a bat in her hands. She ran a 3.30 20-yard dash with a 1.14 4-yard split. A primary outfielder, Lindsay can hold her own while on the grass. She is a defender who understands her ability and gives great effort. She hustles to position consistently. Her glove is sure. Her 54-mph throws are fairly routine and show carry. She works diligently on her accuracy. Her "try hard" on defense is awesome! Appreciate her positive energy! Lindsay truly projects with a bat in her hands. She can help a college program at the plate. Like many veteran hitters, Lindsay can handle the bunt game. She has a balanced stance at the ready. She has an easy, consistent load and a quick trigger. She is short and compact to contact and has a real feel for the barrel. The ball jumps as she strikes the ball with force. She showed a easy power game and drove more than one pitch out of the park! Nice round! Lindsay has a playable defensive game and an advanced approach on offense. She can definitely hit the ball a long way. She can play defense well enough to get her bat in many college line-ups and her obvious work ethic says she will consistently strive to improve all areas of her game. Solid effort. College prospect, especially at the plate!
