Nicholas Mason is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Raeford, NC who attends Village Christian Academy. Medium athletic frame with solid muscular development and room for more. Ran a 7.49 second 60 yard dash. Primary OF, showing solid range and nice angles in routes while aggressively charging ground balls and using a quick transition on throws up to 78 mph from the outfield. Right handed hitter, utilizing an open and spread stance carry his hands relatively low with an upright barrel. Showed an attacking mentality at the plate swinging the bat with intent. Secondary right-handed pitcher, using a big side step to start and creating velocity up to 77 mph from a standard three-quarters angle. Added a two-plane breaker that tunneled well with his fastball. Outstanding student.
