Jameson Bess is a 2028 OF/RHP, 2B, UT with a 5-7 115 lb. frame from Powell, TN who attends Powell. Smaller and athletic build with plenty of room and time to grow. Ran a 8.47 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder. Young but fundamentally sound actions. little hesitant working through it but shows overall control and clean movements. Has a longer and fluid arm with developing arm strength on throws up to 65 mph. Also worked out in the infield. Shows similar athletic tendencies and plays low to the ground. Intentful with the glove and made all the plays. Shorter arm here with throws up to 64 mph. Overall, developing actions on the defensive end that will transition well as he adds size. Pitched as well. Uses a loose and calculated delivery. Belt high leg lift and medium takeaway. Little lower of a slot and sinks the fastball at 66 mph. Also has a curveball with bigger shape at 55 mph. Developing overall feel but apparent athleticism on the mound. Right-hander hitter. Clean setup and uses a simple weight transfer. Lags the barrel with developing bat speed and is long through the zone. Lacks strength and feel for the barrel but found some success with middle of the field liners. Athletic overall kid and just needs time to mature physically.
